| You know....I recall getting an email from xanga a while ago saying that if I wanted to keep my account, I needed to post a blog. But I didn't...and I'm still here. Did anyone else get that email? I stayed up all night writing a paper -_- Well ok....I didn't spend the entire night just writing the paper...I probably shouldn't have been playing WoW at the same time. But the paper isn't due to Friday, and I'm finished! And now I'm really hungry!! And kind of dazed...so I am gonna go lie down, I think. K bye O_O | | |
| http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YG78HkNRYaY *reverts back into 12 year old fan girl* SQUEEEEE SOOOO AWESOME!! I know, this game came out years ago...but for some reason, I had never gotten it...UNTIL NOW! And it was only $17! Sigh...he is soooo badass. The game's theme song (which is by Gackt) is awesome too. | | |
| Definitely more of a night person than a morning person. But not like a cool, partying night person (I will get tired/grumpy/antisocial pretty early -_-). I'm like a stay home geeky night person, who can stay up all night playing video games. Or listening to super cool Secret of Mana music (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ek3EUYlz-d0 thanks makochan!!!) while attempting to do homework. Or watching entire seasons of anime. Which leads to why I'm not a morning person
But anyways, ZOMG where did zomg come from!?!?! I....THINK....it's supposed to be a typo from trying to press "shift" to capitalize OMG, but pressing "z" instead...although I've NEVER made that typo before...and it seems kinda hard to do o_O I think the only l33t speak typo I very commonly make is "teh". It's funny how the language or whatever is supposed to be l33t!!!11...yet it's based on screwups...hmmmmm...but ya! I only say zomg for granny "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people are full of doubts." - Bertrand Russell ZOMG, that is so true, isn't it!? Btw, I found it in someones signature on the WoW druid forums...bwahaha. | | |
| I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack....well I've been back for over a week already...but been lazy! THANK YOU everyone for your advice and concern for my piccolo. Kokoro was fine I didn't have to buy or bring anything extra, but I did warm her up with body heat juuust in case! This was our line up for the concert: Symphony no. 1 Gilgamesh II & III -- Bert Appermont Distant Voices -- Thomas Osborne O Magnum Mysterium -- Morten Lauridsen Masque -- Kenneth Hesketh The Alcotts -- Charles Ives Redline Tango -- John Mackey Over all, the concert was pretty great. But personally, that might've been the most mistakes I've ever made...like stupid mistakes (coming in early, etc.). THANK GOODNESS I'm not like a trumpet or something...so the audience really couldn't hear any of it. Except for the SQUEAK on the very last chord in our first song, where only like 6 people are playing. SIGH. But yeah...everyone else was "AWESOME"! I almost cried during O Magnum Mysterium (and apparently, Mr. Okamura did!) The room we played in was pretty dead though...makes me wonder why they hold a band conference in such a place! But when I listened to the recordings Kristin added reverb to, OMG it gave me chills. My love...what happened to keeping each other warm? All you ever did was STEAL my body heat! And Jen's mysteriously super duper ultra warm hands. Snowboarding = 1/6 fun, 5/6 SORE. I fell onto my head twice..and the snow is like cement. I was actually worrying that I might've cracked something. And my knees...they burned when I just touched them. It would've been so much more fun if you didn't have to stop at some point. All the hurt came from trying to stop -_- For Chanel....so in San Francisco, we went to this bar called Swig. They had this open mic thing, so a bunch of guys wanted to play some jazz improv, and like half the band went to watch. It was pretty cool! Finally, a song I knew (and one of my favorites!!!) "The Chicken" came up, so I was really enjoying that. Then this guy, who had been hyperactively dancing on the side got to go up on stage and sing/dance. And he was going all out, doing splits and humping the air/ground. And then. He decides. To grab. ME. Out of all the people in the room, he goes after me! ZOMG I was like HELL NO. I pulled back several times (because he kept trying), grabbing desperately onto Lea, who was no help because she was apparently laughing her head off at me. But that's ok, because I have a video of her stuck between the bed and the wall. The trip was overall...interesting. I learned things about people that I would have never believed O_O. But trip was tooo long. Geez! Don't they know that some people wanna play WoW on their spring break too!? Spring break was too short -_- Back to schoool...but I'm so lazy now! | | |
| It seems like my entry stimulated a bunch of mini-blogs in my comments! So I thought I'd respond to them... Jen...sorry I was scary I hope you didn't think I was stuck up, because I know some people get that impression from me...>_< I liked sitting next to you though! It was really easy to play next to you, and it felt like we were always in tune with each other, without even trying Anyways, I guess I found you intimidating after your xanga, because of how...passionate you can be sometimes. I couldn't imagine you saying those things in person, but maybe I just don't know that side of you. Of course...my personality online is like totally different than my personality in person...or at least the one I show to people, hehe. Keone...OMG I totally forgot that was in Reno!!! Yes it was my camera!!! Hehe...and yes, Mary, along with Marie are the usual mispronunciations. Also, people don't hear me correctly when I say my name...like at Jamba Juice! I've been mistaken for "Marty" more than once...I dunno if its because I'm not pronouncing it clearly, or if IT'S REALLY JUST TOO LOUD IN THERE THAT EVERYONE HAS TO YELL AND THEY STILL CAN'T HEAR. Your name story is cool though, hehe. And the funny thing is that everyone calls you "Keoni" anyways! MY LOVE!!!! You know...in high school we had to do this project for Japanese, where we looked up our first name and turned it into kanji. And guess what the definition for the closest character for my name was....PERFECTION. Which is related to circle, which is like a ball! There was also "seduction" as one of the definitions, but I won't go into that. Auramouse...wow...you are soooo right with the writing thing. I hate writing my name...I can write your name more easily than my own!! I seriously cannot write it fast without making it look like "man". Then again, maybe it's just cuz my writing sucks So...Reno trip is very very soon. I was up late tonight working on my last minute homeworks...also a 2 page draft of a 10 page paper. SIGH. Now I'm wide awake cuz I drank some coffee...I guess I should work on packing some more. Mr. Okamura sent us an email that the temperatures in Reno are like high 40s low 25s...OH MY GOD. I am gonna freeze. But aside from that...I'm kinda scared. I hope we do really well...I hope I don't screw up on any of my mini soloish parts. I hope...the other bands suck...so we look even better! Mwahahaha. Oh yes...must remember to protect my piccolo from drying. I'm not really sure how to do it...Mr. Okamura said orange peels work, but how do I fit that in my picc case?! I guess it would have to be little orange peel sprinkles. Also, I was looking online and some sites said that if you play your instrument everyday, the moisture from your breath should be enough. Other sites said that you need to warm the instrument up with body heat before playing, or the inside of the wood will expand faster than the outside, and it will crack. I'm scared...I had this horrible dream about my picc head joint CRACKING into 2 pieces...>_< Also, I decided that she is female. I dunno. Even if it's supposed to be a guy, I just can't imagine her as one. She's also finally told me her name...(I started watching Bleach again) | | |
